Presales Consultants/Presales (Enterprise Systems and Cloud)
Primary Function
Provide pre-sales support on Networks & Wireless Solutions. Propose design and solutions to Customers and Sales, based on customer requirements, with appropriate products and technologies.
Scope
The pre-sales consultant along with the sales personnel will provide the most ideal design, solution, or proposal and BOM on customer requirements.
Reports to
Sales Director/General Manager/Sales Manager
Responsibilities / Skills Required:
- Assist sales personnel to customers on their complex technical requirements Server, Storage, Data protection, DR for on-prem and cloud.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Servers, Blades, Storage System, HCI, Virtualization, and Azure.
- Knowledge of designing MS solutions based on AD, Exchange, SCCM, Office 365, Azure.
- Knowledge of VDI Solution on Citrix and Microsoft technologies.
- Provide consultation/design for projects. Understand the requirement of the customer and translate the same to define Scope of Work
- Define / Derive a Bill of Material based on the requirement of the customer. Prepare the proposal with Design, SoW, and BOM
- Liaise with Principals on products/technologies on technical, commercials, and marketing front.
- Update and advise management on the market trends and demands to keep pace with the evolving technologies and customer needs.
- Prepare management reports on the opportunity’s status and devise mechanisms to bridge the gaps based on competitive products, vendors, and competitions.
- Maintain confidentiality on design, proposal, and documentation on the proposed solution to the customer.
- Interact with Post Sales team on evaluation of new products and technology in order to propose the customer with the optimum and ideal design.
- Conduct periodic internal presentations to the Sales & Post Sales teams on the products and technologies.
- Achieve individual targets on product lines through Sales and Services.
- Prepare reports on opportunities and achievements on proposals.
- Liaise with Post Sales and advise/suggest pricing for services.
- Work closely with the technical team to synchronize on new products and technologies to be sold and supported.
- Provide performance enhancement consultations on a need basis.
